But with busy seasons, paperwork, events, and emails, it’s all too easy for details to slip through the cracks.
I created this New Family Connection Checklist in Notion to help me lovingly track every important step — from the first welcome email, to summer invites, to volunteer surveys.
And because I want to make this easy for you too, I’m sharing the exact Notion template I use!

Easy Instructions: How to Use This Notion Template
✨ How to Save & Use Your Own Copy:
1️⃣ Click the link to open my Notion template.
2️⃣ In the top right corner, click “Duplicate.”
3️⃣ If you aren’t already signed into Notion, it will ask you to log in or create a free account.
4️⃣ The template will automatically be saved to your own Notion workspace.
5️⃣ Now you can edit, add family names, check things off, and make it fit your troop!
📌 Helpful Tip: If you’re new to Notion, think of it like a digital binder — you can create pages, checklists, calendars, and keep everything beautifully organized in one place.
🗂️ You can even share your troop’s version with your leadership team if you’d like them to help update it too!

Instructions for the Google Form Inside the Template
✨ How to Make Your Own Copy of the New Family Volunteer Survey:
1️⃣ Open the link to my Google Form.
2️⃣ You’ll see a screen that says “Would you like to make a copy?” — click “Make a Copy.”
3️⃣ The form will save into your own Google Drive.
4️⃣ Now you can change the wording, add your troop name, and update questions to fit your families!
