What if I told you that a one hour meeting could prevent a hundred little fires in your troop year? Believe it or not, my number one success tip is not a Pinterest perfect craft. It’s a leader’s meeting.
Imagine stepping into your troop here with confidence, clarity, and a team that’s a hundred percent on the same page. Sounds amazing. Right? My goal is to make sure that all my leaders have as much planned this year over the summer, so that by the fall, once everything crazy happens, we are all already on a smooth path and everything’s already been planned out. We know what to do and we can enjoy our opportunity to serve these beautiful girls and help them to know Jesus and not come from a place of rush or disorganization because the girls can tell when we are rushed or not organized, they will also be a lot more happy when we have created engaging badge work and meeting nights for them. And I have told all my leaders to really look at this as your ministry. This is not just mommy me time. This is our opportunity to show God’s love to grow these girls up in faith and leadership and , life skills that they never would’ve gotten if they had not been the American heritage girls. So we may not be in Africa holding precious little orphans and feeding them food or digging wells or anything like that, but we are here every week or every other week serving these girls in our community and I know so much that one day when we go to heaven, we’re going to meet girls who will tell us my life was changed, or I met Jesus because I was an American Hair girls. And that’s a legacy for all of us to be so proud of. I hope that this will encourage you to also just take some time and think things through so that you can have a wonderful year this fall.
