Discover the 2025–2026 AHG Theme: PRICELESS
Equipping Girls to Treasure Their Identity in Christ
This year, American Heritage Girls celebrates a milestone—30 years of building women of integrity! And with this “Year of the Pearl,” AHG invites us into a powerful new Program Year Theme: PRICELESS. Rooted in Matthew 13:45–46, this theme reminds us that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the PEARL of great price—worth everything.
Just like an oyster forms a pearl through discomfort, our girls are being shaped through life’s trials into radiant reflections of God’s glory. As leaders, we’re called to help them recognize their worth, deepen their faith, and shine their light in a world that so desperately needs truth and hope.
Here’s a roundup of ideas and highlights from the PRICELESS Program Year Theme Guide that you can bring into your troop’s journey.
1. Faith-Focused Activities
- Recite the theme verse (Matthew 13:45–46) at each meeting.
- Use the PRICELESS Devotion Guide—perfect for flag ceremonies, unit time, or outdoor adventures.
- Try the Prayer Pearl activity, where girls pass a tissue-paper-wrapped pearl and take turns praying. Build a visual reminder of answered prayers by layering tissue each week.
💡 Faith Award Recommendations:
Daughter of the King • Mission Minded • Bible Basics • Live It Out • Girls in Prayer (our troop is going to do Daughter of the King)
2. Leadership with Grit and Grace
Encourage your girls to grow as leaders through:
- Grit & Grace Leadership Training—build resilience and compassion like a pearl formed through pressure.
- Big Sister–Little Sister Patch Program—a beautiful way to mentor across age groups.
- Create a “PRICELESS Proclaimer” position to help one girl lead in faith-sharing throughout the year.
3. Social Events with Purpose
This year’s ocean and pearl theme lends itself to so many fun event ideas:
- PRICELESS Pearl Party – kick off the year with games, crafts, and snacks.
- Under the Sea Dance or Tea – a magical family night for girls and their parents.
- Genuine Gems Jewelry Day – tour a jeweler, then make your own bracelets with pearl beads.
- Deep Dive Discovery – visit an aquarium and reflect on God’s creation.
- Mission-Minded Fair – invite missionaries and set up girl-led service stations.
4. Outdoor Adventures
Encourage your girls to explore God’s creation through themed outdoor fun:
- “Manatee Mission” Treasure Hunt – girls solve clues to find hidden “pearls.”
- Bioluminescent Night Games – use glow sticks for tag or obstacle courses and connect it with the call to be lights in the world (Matthew 5:14–16).
- Freshwater & Marine Biology Badge – tie in learning about mollusks and underwater life.
5. Faithful Citizenship and Service
We’re called to serve others with the same PRICELESS love we’ve received.
- Participate in AHG’s National Day of Service (September 21).
- Try a Bible-a-Thon fundraiser or “gift-wrapping for donations” at Christmas.
- Organize community outreach like tech training for seniors or planting a church garden with Scripture signs.
- Celebrate patriotic holidays with meaningful projects (Veterans Day visits, Constitution Day discussions, or 4th of July parades with Gospel tracts).
6. Decorations and Atmosphere
Bring the theme to life in your meeting space:
- Decorate with pearls, manatees, and ocean tones.
- Create a Pearl Prayer Board, a selfie station with underwater props, or hang bioluminescent crafts made by the girls.
- Use the AHG Spotify Playlist to add a spiritual soundtrack to your gatherings.

7. Girl Advancement with Intention
Celebrate every milestone:
- Include theme devotions in your award ceremonies.
- Hand out a “PRICELESS Certificate” to every girl noting how she’s grown this year.
- Use resurrection-themed holiday events and theme tie-ins for Faith Awards and Level Awards.
Let’s Flourish Together
This year’s theme reminds us that we are treasured, known, and deeply loved. May our girls grow in confidence not just in who they are, but in Whose they are. Jesus sees their hearts as PRICELESS—and what a joy it is to help them see that too.
If you’re a troop leader looking for ways to implement the PRICELESS theme with your own spin, I’d love to hear how you’re planning to bring it to life! Tag your photos with #AHGPRICELESS—let’s inspire each other as we lead girls with grit, grace, and Godliness. 💎
