One of my favorite insights from Heather was her reminder that you don’t have to do everything to make a meaningful impact. Simply showing up, praying faithfully, and creating small connection points—like birthday blessings or checking in with prayer needs—can make your girls feel seen, loved, and spiritually supported.
Heather also touched on one of the biggest challenges for many Shepherds: building connections across multiple age levels. Her solution? Tailored devotion times and involving older girls in leadership through girl-led devotions. It’s a beautiful way to deepen faith and build community at the same time.
